ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC OPENING DAY!
We had a record turnout for our opening day last Sunday! Thank you for making it such a success.
The United Way took in 16 full shoeboxes on their first day at the market. Let's make sure by the end of May they receive a record number of shoeboxes from our community! They will be at the market every Sunday in May. If you don't have any shoeboxes, not a problem - they have empty ones for you.
We will be giving away recipes again at the market. Stop by and chat about the possibilities of trying a vegetable you may not be familiar with. Go ahead - try something new!
The market has purchased a chairs to put in the park. If you are tired, want to stop and enjoy the morning with a coffee and pastry - have a seat and enjoy yourself.
Cameron Cafe, our favorite neighborhood coffee shop came and sold out of all their muffins and most of their coffee - We are so pleased to welcome them to the market!
All in all it was a terrific opening day and hopefully the rest of the season will be as much fun!
Remember - We have new hours: 8:30 AM to 1 PM. We are opening early for you early morning foodies.
All of your favorite food vendors will be back and we have added several new ones including a french bakery! Look at the vendor site for a full list and description of our vendors.
AND all your favorite crafters and artists will be there and this year we have some very interesting new people as well. It's Mothers Day on Sunday. Come buy your Mom some flowers or jewelry or the makings of breakfast and dinner!
The West End Farmers Market is a great way to spend a Sunday morning. See you at the market!
